The last couple of months I’ve been in the process of decorating my room, and I’ve begun the dilemma of trying to find some lighting for my bedroom. I’ve already got some floor lamps and a small bedside table hamper, however my ceiling light is hideous.
This has turned out to be a complete minefield, who would have thought it would be so difficult to choose lighting!? I’m trying to find the balance between modern and sterile, whilst staying consistent with my new bedroom theme. I’ve narrowed my choices down to a few pendant ceiling lights to brighten up my bedroom. Com’on ladies and gentlemen, help me make a decision?
Hanging pendant lights or a chandelier in your bedroom is a great way to add not only light but beauty and elegance. A hanging bedroom light can provide ambient lighting or add a focused spot of light for tasks such as reading. Typically seen in kitchens and dining rooms, hanging lights may seem unconventional in the bedroom, but many homeowners are finding them a perfect way to add light and art to their personal retreat.

I really love the John Lewis light! Gorgeous! Thanks for the great post. I think I might be a new fan! 🙂
I was a little worried that pendant lamps might make my room feel smaller by giving the impression of a lower ceiling – but actually, as long as you go for length instead of bulk, it can still give rooms an open feel
Useful tips as I’m not the most decisive person! thanks
