Instead, you should have a meeting with your line manager and talk to them. Let them know everything that’s going on, and that you’re struggling with it. Tell them that you feel like it’s affecting you at work and that you need help dealing with it.

There will be little things at work that et on your nerves, and there always are. But at this stage, you can’t afford to be getting worked up about those. Just try to focus on doing your job and sealing with the important facets of your job. Everything else can be placed on hold until your problems are sorted out.

Your employers value you as a part of the company, and they will want to protect that. So they are likely to offer you help and support if you ask for it. They will probably offer to put you in touch with occupational health service providers, Health Assured. Having already talked to your line manager, the company will no doubt be aware of what’s going on. So now might be a good time to ask for advice as much as possible.
Take Time Off

No one is an island, and it’s important to focus on getting through your problems. Work are often understanding about this kind of thing, and you should take the time if you’re offered it. Don’t try to put on a brave face, and don’t turn the offer down because you’re too proud. Take the time you’re given and use it to try to get better.
