Creating Beachy Waves Hair

I’ve recently been using the Enrapture Amplify Jumbo Waver hair styler and thought I’d write a review on how I’m getting on with them. I’ve had them a few months now so I’ve found the good the bad and the ugly to give you the low down on if these would be a good match for you or not. I’ve been looking for a hair styler to give me beachy loose waves for months but only seemed to come across curlers and straighteners. I’m not great at using hair straighteners in a creative way and the waves I did manage to create were never consistent.

The Amplify Jumbo Waver came in a a royal blue presentation box, complete with a travel sleeve for the styler. The stylers are quite heavy, but light enough to pop in your handbag for a weekend away. It has an adjustable temperature dial on the handle, however it doesn’t tell you how hot the stylers are. Although, compared to some stylers, at least you have the ability to adjust the temperature to reduce heat damage to your hair.  They heat up really quickly, and I’ve been using them on full heat. The on/off button lights up when the stylers are on, as they are sitting on my bed in this image I’ve turned them off!

The Amplify Jumbo Waver is great for traveling, as mentioned before, it is light-weight and has a clip to hold down the handle, so that the styler stays closed. The carry case seems a bit lower quality and is not heat resistant, but with a bag full of hair products I wouldn’t be looking to put some hot stylers straight into there anyway. See below an official video of how to use the Amplify Jumbo Waver that I took from their YouTube channel.

I’d say over all I was impressed with the product and although it isn’t versatile like perhaps my straighteners, these have now worked there way into my must-have list of products. The styler creates consistency, making your hair look natural and it requires having no skill. That being said, it’s far easier to crimp that back of your hair than it would be to style them with a pair of straighteners. They are quick and easy to use, however for people with long hair it might take a while to crimp each piece. You can see see my hair after using the Amplify Jumbo Waver here.

To create beachy waves I’d recommend using the Amplify Jumbo waver but there are a few products I’ve used over the past couple of years to try and create this natural look. I’ve not found anything yet that hasn’t made my hair sticky! Any suggestions? I’m going to try out Wellness Mamas DIY Beach Waves Sea Salt Spray, however I’m always apprehensive when it comes to putting home made products in my hair. It’s made up of hot water, epsom salts, sea salt, aloe vera gel, conditioner, essential oils and lemon juice, so it might be worth a shot just to see!

Do you have any hair products you’d recommend?x
